In the 1960's Ford Racing and Carroll Shelby were tearing up tracks and winning races all over the US and Europe with the Cobras. Several "Daytona" coups were built to handle the super fast tracks, notably Le Mans. Two more Daytona's were being built as well on 427 Cobras. Three of these cars are in the Miller collection at the Miller Sports Park. Larry Miller had perhaps the best collection of Shelby cars in the world, even better than Carroll's collection, including every type of Mustang, Cobra, Ford GT40 and later Ford GTs.
