The President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo, on 12th September 2022, in a pre-recorded speech, informed participants of the Regional Conference of African National Commissions for UNESCO of Accra’s designation as the UNESCO World Book Capital, 2023. He used the platform to invite participants to join Accra, Ghana during the yearlong celebration.
