The Nigeria Police is to set up task force to ensure diligent prosecution of Marine offenders and to reposition Marine Police.
The Inspector General of Police, IGP, Solomon Arase disclosed this while receiving the Chief of Naval Staff.
Inspector General of Police Solomon Arase says the Nigeria Police Force will provide robust security throughout the festive period.
In a statement by the Force Public relations officer Assistant Commissioner of Police Olabisi Kolawole the IGP has ordered effective and extensive deployment of personnel including movement of necessary logistics to all Eid-praying grounds and other places of worship including public places and recreation centres.
