This award honors an alumnus who, while employed in a solo or small firm practice, has demonstrated an exceptional commitment to the community, the profession, or Colorado Law. This year, we honored Dru R. Nielsen ’97, who is recognized as one of the top criminal defense attorneys in the region and who has devoted her entire career to aggressively defending individuals accused of committing crimes.
