In this episode, Noel and friends take the JS "Xero Gravity" through its paces at Waco Surf and in Western Australia.
Noel kicks things off by comparing the new Xero Gravity to the original Monsta Box, the Monsta Box 2020, and the Air 17X. While each of these boards has its own unique features, the Xero Gravity takes DNA from all of them with an exciting new twist. Noel describes the Xero Gravity as a legitimate High-Performance Shortboard (HPSB), ideal for solid intermediate to pro-level surfers, and best suited for surf in the 4'-6'+ range. The board delivers good speed and tight turns, but Noel warns that you need to be on your game to fully unlock its potential.
Ian from Wooly TV shares his thoughts after riding Xero Gravity in Carbotune, calling it "the best board he's ridden all year." He praises Carbotune for combining the best of both PU/Poly and EPS/Epoxy constructions, noting that JS has truly nailed the construction, making it the best he's ridden to date.
Finally, Noel teams up with Pablo from Waco Surf for a one-hour session on the Xero Gravity. Pablo describes the board as "magic," highlighting its impressive pop for airs and its ability to explode into the lip with ease.
