Supreme Court has adjourned a plea on the recent incidents of violence in Manipur. It has now called for an updated status report by the state government after the Biren Singh cabinet claimed that the situation is improving slowly. Manipur government has mentioned that enough security personnel have been deployed in the Imphal Valley. However, the situation is far from normal. The apex court has scheduled the hearing for July 7.
