Residents of Ongata Rongai have raised concerns over alleged poor health service delivery at county hospitals. The residents say patients are referred to private pharmacies to get prescription medicine. One patient says she could not get her drugs at the facility and had to pay more at a private pharmacy. The patients are calling on the county government to employ better doctors and ensure supply of drugs. Kajiado county governor Joseph Ole Lenku acknowledged some of the challenges facing the health facilities adding that the county health department was working towards ensuring normalcy resumes.
