Mark new files as sensitive by default is a new feature available in SharePoint Online. This helps you to block the external sharing for new files added to SharePoint Online until one of the DLP policy applied. If the file has no sensitive content based on the DLP policy, then guests can access the file. If the policy identifies sensitive content, then guests will not be able to access the file. This video provides demo of this new feature.
