In this Until It Sleeps guitar lesson video, I will show you how to play this great song off of Metallica's Load album note-for-note.
The tuning is Eb. That is, starting from the 6th string, Eb Ab Db Gb Bb Eb.
"Until It Sleeps" contains a lot of cool guitar riffs. From the opening simple clean arpeggiated chords, to the pounding dual riff chorus, there are some really fun riffs to get under your fingers.
Perhaps my favorite section of the song is the bridge, which has James laying the ground work with some dissonant intervals and Kirk playing a very cool octave melody over it.
I will also cover Kirk's solo note-for-note as well.
