In this exciting installment, we look at some little known campaigns of the Mongols, often confused with others: the conquest of Siberia and First Battle with the Khwarezmians under Shah Muhammad II. A tribal revolt on the northern border of the empire threatens Mongol power, while an old enemy of Chinggis Khan makes new allies to the west! And the Khwarezm-Shah, Muhammad II, intercepts a Mongol force, putting his empire on a collision course with the thirteenth century's most fearsome military power. Exciting stuff!
