Canada Emergency Student Benefit (CESB) eligibility was announced today during Trudeau's daily speech. The Canada Emergency Student Benefit is an extension of the Government of Canada's Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB), which is available to high school students in grade 12 going to university in the fall, current university students, and recent university graduate students as of December 2019. Students will receive up to $1750 and a minimum of $1250 over the months of May - August from the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). There is also a Canada Student Service Grant available which offers students who are volunteering to fight against this pandemic $1000-$5000.
