On Thursday afternoon, shot-like sounds were reportedly heard outside the west end of the Capitol Building in Washington, D.C. In response, Capitol police were seen with guns drawn and shutting down the perimeter. Debate was suspended in the House, and Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) was notified during her speaking time.
