Eid is coming up! A new take on a familiar dish

**Sheer Khurma Breading Pudding**
**Ingredients:**
- 9-10 croissants, broken into pieces
- 4 cups milk
- Your favorite sheer korma mix
- Bread pan or baking dish
**Instructions:**
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2. Bake croissants in a single layer on a baking sheet until golden brown, about 20 minutes.
3. In a large saucepan, heat milk over medium heat until it comes to a simmer.
4. Add sheer korma mix and stir until dissolved.
5. Layer croissants and sheer korma mixture in a bread pan or baking dish.
6. Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until pudding is set.
7. Let cool and serve.
**Tips:**
- For a richer flavor, use whole milk instead of skim milk.
- If you don’t have a sheer korma mix, you can make your own by combining 1/2 cup sugar, 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom, and 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg, rose water and vermicelli noodle
- To prevent the milk from boiling over, move the pot to the side as it heats up.
- For a garnish, sprinkle the top of the pudding with chopped nuts or dried fruit.
