Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is important for professional growth. Research in both the human medicine and veterinary medicine fields suggest that having good non-technical competency skills can be beneficial to both veterinarians and stakeholders. Dr Tierney Kinnison provides a summary of the completed research that looks at the impact of participating in non-technical CPD, as well as reporting on a further study that evaluates how completing a module of non-technical CPD can improve the wellbeing of veterinary surgeons.
