When you are in the starting points of any recording, it's easy to make your tracks and hit record.
After the first take, you may want notice that you could have performed something better, or that you hit a wrong note, but you don't want to record everything over again.
You can easily "punch in" the part and overdub a better performance, but how can you do this and hear what you did in the last take?
Pre-Roll & Auto Punch are key features in any DAW to ensuring that you've captured the best take you can. This video will go over what they are and how to enable them inside Studio One.
