Drainage is not an area of plumbing I would normally undertake but when we was asked in plumb in the 1st fix on a new bathroom and we fell short when the existing drainage supply was in asbestos, we wanted to see the job through so decided to get involved.
Drainage wasn't as hard as we expected, once we worked out where the drainage ran, it was just a case of digging down until we exposed enough area of the the old drainage to connect our new drainage pipe.
In this video you will see us connect onto an existing drainage system, how to install underground drainage pipes and how to install a soil pipe. The existing drainage underground was in clay so we had to use clay to 110mm strap band connectors to convert the pipe then run our new drainage pipework
