This video may help you if you have a Ford Transit or Transit Custom and it will not start.
This is a new problem that we have seen this week, and we fixed two different vans that had this problem.
The ring around the ignition was not reading the key. When we changed it for a new one then both vans started up fine.
We did not need to programme the unit in, it's 'plug and play'.
We think this is going to be a big problem as the vans get older as both vans were only four years old.
You may also see this problem is you are trying to programme a new key.
