The vision of Plaosme is to proudly showcase Lao products and services, and this is achieved through a trusted and friendly platform that will help Lao businesses sustain in a changing environment and create better opportunities for all communities including promising entrepreneurs and promote gender equality in Lao. Plaosme.com is the outcome of an initiative of the Government of Lao PDR. Plaosme.com is a component of the SME Export and E-Commerce Development (SEED) Programme, led by the Department of SME Promotion (DOSMEP) of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MOIC) with Department of Import and Export (DIMEX) and Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LNCCI) as the implementing agencies, with the support of the Asian Development Bank (ABD). Implemented by barterfli Holdings, Plaosme.com is to increase the export capacity of Lao SMEs to the rest of the world.
