Brownells new product guru Paul Levy maintains a low profile today... and shows us the new Bullet Proof® Adjustable Lo-Profile AR-15 Gas System from Wilson Combat. The system consists of a low-profile gas block machined from 4140 steel with a stainless steel gas tube already installed. A slot-head screw on the front of the gas block lets you adjust the gas flow through 16 positive-click tactile settings, so you can "dial up" the perfect gas flow for whatever ammunition you're shooting. The gas block mechanism is actually SELF-CLEANING, so each time you adjust the setting, it scraps out carbon fouling. Setscrews in the bottom of the block snug it securely to your AR-15's pre-dimpled barrel. The gas tube is actually straight, so it's super easy to line up with the upper receiver during installation. Wilson's Bullet Proof® gas system is available with a variety of gas tube lengths AND with gas blocks to fit different barrel diameters.
