Session Title: Tips From the Trenches: Going From Zero to Hero
Session Abstract: When I took the job as Chief Data Officer of Westpac New Zealand it was a brand-new role in a heavily regulated, legacy-based environment. In this session I’ll share my learnings of the challenges and opportunities of taking a well-established, highly trusted, in-person business into the new digital age. I’ll discuss what good looks like to me, how I’m measuring success, and how to navigate the multiple roles a CDO needs to play to be successful. And I’ll give you my top ten tips, to go from zero to hero as quickly as possible.
