The Tofurky Company and NW VEG sponsored the annual Tofurky Trot held onThanksgiving Day, November 23, 2017, in Portland, Oregon at historic Oaks Park. The Tofurky Trot 5k is a run, trot, or walk open to all levels of physical fitness, providing an opportunity before the big meal to join with friends and family to celebrate the bounty of the earth’s delicious plant foods by burning off some calories and working up a hearty appetite at the same time. This annual event also supports the health and vitality of local communities across the country and helps raise money for local non-profits promoting a compassionate plant-based lifestyle.
