Wheeling Island is a part of Wheeling, WV located in the Ohio River. Wheeling is a city in the "panhandle" of West Virginia that sticks up from the rest of WV, due to the Ohio River not quite reaching the Pennsylvania western boundary.
This drive was recorded in September 2021. The City of Wheeling as a whole is somewhat economically depressed. The Wheeling Island Casino features at the south end.
The historic Wheeling Suspension bridge is noted in this video - sadly, the Wheeling bridge was closed to car traffic in 2020. A separate video can be found on my channel.
