Welcome to Sound Celebration of All Hallows Eves - known as Halloween nowadays, also a celebration of Samhain (Celtic traditions) All Saints & Souls Day (Christian traditions) or Dziady (Forefathers Eve from Slavic traditions).
I many traditions this time is associated with harvest and the beginning of Winter when October turns to November. We're thanking the Earth for harvest and welcoming Winter as a time of sacred darkness.
It also marks the end of the year and the beginning of the new one.
It is believed that during this time the veil between the world of the living and the realm of the dead is the thinnest and this facilitates contact and communication.
During this time we're celebrating & honoring those who have past. It's time for griefing our ancestors but also being grateful that they were part of our life and lineage.
We're also appreciating life. Reflecting on death and rebirth, as seen in nature, overcoming fear of death, and accepting it as part of the cycle of life.
Today on the 31st of November 2020 there's Full Moon - second Full Moon this month which is called Blue Moon. It amplifies the energies and makes our celebrations even more powerful.
