Lychee Iced Tea
Serves: 2
Ingredients:
2 bags of black or green tea
1 can of lychees in syrup
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup water
Begin by steeping each tea bag in 1 cup of hot water for 10-13 minutes.
To make the simple syrup, combine 1 cup hot water and 1 cup granulated sugar. Stir until dissolved, then set aside to cool.
Open canned lychees and drain lychee syrup into a cup, do not discard!
Roughly chop the lychees.
Once the tea is done steeping, add a few pieces of ice to help cool the tea.
Add one cup of lychee syrup to the tea. The ratio for tea to syrup is 1 to 1 (1:1). Stir, then add in lychee pieces.
Add simple syrup for sweetness, this is to your taste.
Add in ice cubes.
Enjoy!
