The New Polo headlights have been updated for a more modern look and come as standard with LEDs. On the higher trim levels, Volkswagen will optionally offer, for the first time, a more sophisticated matrix LED setup. Looking at the back, the new Polo adopts a wider LED taillights, just like in the new Golf 8.

The new VW Polo 2021 interior was updated too. Inside the cabin, Volkswagen has updated its infotainment systems and the largest touchscreen available now measures 9.2 inches.

Another change is the adoption of the new touch climate controls, borrowed from the facelifted Tiguan and Arteon.

The Polo now comes with a fully digital driver's display as standard, measuring between 8 inches and 10.25 inches, depending on the trim level.

The list of engines includes:

• the naturally aspirated 1 liter engine, producing 80 horsepower and 93 Newton-meters of torque, delivered through a five-speed manual gearbox.

• the 2nd option includes a 1 liter TSI engine, offered with either 95 hp or 110 hp, available with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

• the 3rd option is a 1 liter TGI powertrain, with 90 hp and 160 Nm of torque. It runs on compressed natural gas, and aims to deliver diesel-like efficiency, while significantly cutting emissions.
