Kit Marie's love of maps started from a young age, where they would insist on being the navigator on family holidays, through to weaving them into every possible topic during their 13-year career as a Geography high-school teacher in Norfolk.
In this webinar, Kit Marie and their five-year-old son Theo demonstrate how Digimap For Schools can be used by youngsters (KS1-KS2) to explore their local area through plotting a route, measuring it, geo-located pictures and simple categorisation. Kit will then show how the same features can be used in more depth by older students (KS3-KS4) for activities such as fieldwork and expedition planning.
