With King Henry VI now gone and Edward son of York on the throne, one would imagine such a "loving and supportive" brother such as Richard would be content and overjoyed. As far as his siblings are concerned he is, but indeed nothing can be further from the truth. Despite Richard's presence in Shakespeare's Henry VI part ii and part iii, only now in the opening lines of Shakespeare's next play Richard III, are we finally shown Richard's true intentions, his lust for violence and far reaching ambition.
Enjoy :)
