बांग्लादेश में चल रहा आरक्षण के विरोध में प्रदर्शन शांत होने का नाम ही नहीं ले रहा है. परिस्थितियों को बिगड़ता देख शेख हसीना (Sheikh Hasina) ने पीएम पद से इस्तीफा दे दिया है और वो सोमवार को देश छोड़कर चली गई हैं. बीते कुछ दिनों से बांग्लादेश हिंसक झड़प में कम से कम 300 लोगों के मारे जाने की खबर है.

बांग्लादेश में हिंसक विरोध प्रदर्शनों के बीच भारत ने अपने नागरिकों को अगली सूचना तक बांग्लादेश की यात्रा से बचने की सलाह दी है. विदेश मंत्रालय ने भी बांग्लादेश में रह रहे अपने नागरिकों को सख्त चेतावनी दी है कि वे बेहद सतर्क रहें और अपनी आवाजाही सीमित रखें.

अब बांग्लादेश में हालात बदल गए हैं. तख्तापलट के बाद देश की पूरी बागडोर सेना अपने हाथ में ले ली. आर्मी चीफ जनरल वकर-उज-जमान ने कहा है कि 48 घंटों के भीतर बांग्लादेश में एक अंतरिम सरकार की स्थापना होगी. सेना प्रमुख ने कहा है कि वह बांग्लादेश में शांति लाएंगे.

पड़ोस में हुए तख्तापलट के बाद भारत हर तरह की स्थिति पर नजर बनाए हुए हैं. भारत-बांग्लादेश बॉर्डर पर सुरक्षा अलर्ट जारी कर दिया गया है. सोमवार को प्रदर्शनकारियों ने बंग्लादेश में खूब उपद्रव मचाया. उपद्रवियों ने पीएम आवास में तोड़फोड़ के साथ-साथ ढाका में कई जगहों पर आगजनी की.
