How to Identify the End of a Trend: Is this a Blow-Off Top?

We are trading a market from the long side or we are looking for a short opportunity and we are waiting for the trend to end. And a trend can be finished by a blow off top. What is a blow off top? Also known as an exhaustion move or a climax a blow off top is that final aggressive move that signals the last people who have to get into the trade or stock or crypto and that's it. It is the last exhaustion of the move and it is often followed by a significant retracement. As such it signals the end of a trend. Now, do you always get a complete reversal of the trend... no... But what you often get is a hefty pullback.
How to identify trend reversals in the markets:
1) Sharp increase in candle range.
2) Fresh significant highs.
3) Much higher than usual volume.
4) Extreme oscillator readings
5) Lots of media/news/social exposure (daily)
