You can tell by my (very cringe) reaction, I wasn't expecting it and I was in a panic lol. I'm surprised that out of all elevators, it would be one of the rarest elevators in North America getting me stuck.
This is all how it happened:
I went to the elevator and pressed Floor 21 to see how fast a one floor trip would be. Doors close, the indicator shows 21, and the elevator starts moving... then I hear a louder than normal DC sound. The elevator abruptly stops in between floors. I don't know what caused this, but according to people who work in this building, it happens all the time.
These elevators are in the process of being modernized by Schindler with Touchscreens and Innovation Prestige. Sadly, these aren't getting Miconic TX. I believe they are getting GALaxy, and sadly you can no longer feel the acceleration that well and they now level really slowly.
