Wassen. What a place! probably one of the most beautiful places i have been to thus far, located on the Gottard Route it had plenty to offer. A variety of freight, loco hauled trains & intercity units pass through, surrounded by the mountainous route. Sadly all this has now gone apart from local trains as the new Gottard tunnel has opened, significantly decreasing journey times between major cities in Switzerland.
