Let's take a look at the Canon EOS R! I had a chance to try this out at my local camera shop. It's Canon's first mirrorless full-frame camera. Is it a solid first start for their high-end mirrorless cameras? Let's take a look. I talk about ergonomics and features I feel are important to mention. I also compare it to the Canon EOS M50 as well as the Nikon Z7 that I tried out recently. Errata: The 1.83x crop is apparently only for 4K with Enhanced digital IS enabled. 4K without IS or with standard digital IS is somewhere between 1.7x and 1.83x. I couldn't find the exact numbers on any official Canon website.
