When Old Major offers the animals a wonderful vision of a future without Man, Mr Jones’ animals prepare for rebellion. The day comes when the animals oust the humans in a sudden and dramatic revolt. Hooray! The code of Animalism is established, Manor Farm is renamed ‘Animal Farm’, and the pigs start guiding their comrades towards a glorious future. Surely the pigs wouldn’t take advantage of the animals’ trust, would they?
