The workforce at Royal Albert Dock persevered through the “Beast from the East” and storm Emma to keep the project open and operatives working safely which was a great effort by all members of the team. Rooftop slabs have now been completed on all the buildings marking a fantastic achievement for the project team just 47 weeks after breaking ground on 24th April 2017.
Façade cladding has now been completed on 2 of the 5 structures which is now giving the internal trades a great opportunity to demonstrate their ability to work together and deliver a world class fit out. With spring now upon us we will be focusing on below ground services and progressing the landscaping on the project, as part of this there will be 5,000 metres of district heating and cooling pipework installed across this phase of the development.
