This video is the first in a recurring series we are calling "inside the lab." It is our chance to give you a behind-the-scenes look at some of the projects we are undertaking to simulate solutions to real-world measurement needs. In this video, we have simulated a fast-moving conveyor by using a spinning drum. The parts affixed to the drum are being scanned at the apex of the curve by a line laser, accurately simulating parts moving quickly past the sensor as though they were on a belt.
