On the occasion of the Annual General Meeting of the MQPS (Medway Queen Preservation Society) the Paddle Steamer "Waverley", out on a cruise around the Thames and Medway estuaries, stops by at the pier at Gillingham to greet the "Medway Queen". A rare meeting between the only two British sea going paddle steamers remaining in existence. This was on October 12th 2024. The "Medway Queen was built in 1924 and is 100 years old and therefore this is her centenary year.
