One of the best strat mods would be to change the tuners to a locking set. I chose a set of Guyker locking tuners and can't believe how great they are.
Budget strats often come with cheap electronics so it's worth doing stratocaster electronics upgrade including a good quality switch and some full-sized audio taper pots along with an orange drop capacitor. Also while the strat is open, use some copper tape to shield the insides.
My favourite Strat upgrade is fitting a treble bleed. This treble bleed is from Marstronic and is a variable treble bleed so you can choose the frequency of the treble and how large that boost is.
As always, with any dark fretboard I use Monty's Instrument food to make it look awesome.
Braddles saddles are always a great stratocaster mod. £7 and they're quick and easy to fit.
The Best stratocaster pickups when you want to upgrade strat pickups in a budget guitar, or a Fender for that matter, would be Tonerider pickups. This HSS set of Tonerider pickups cost £100 but you can get the single coil version for £80! Unreal and they're proper flatwork.
