I’ve got a Peugeot Metropolis 400i from 2015 at home, having used the bike perfectly well for the first 1500 miles or so it behaved perfectly well. However, in the last couple of years or so it has developed a habit of cutting out once warm as indicated in this vid.
I’ve checked the injector for what I thought would be a conical spray when actually it’s clearly a number of jets (approx 5 or 6) which jet and form the mist. As I can’t pull it all apart when it’s running to identify the issue, I am back to square one.
The garage we bought it from, new, we’re really helpful and just said it’s old fuel, it isn’t, I have pulled all the old fuel out or used it, and refilled with filtered fuel to ensure it’s clear from debris. Think I might get a fuel filter regardless as it might be at fault, or is it the engine fuelling map once warm?
Is there anyone that might shed light on rectifying this issue?
