I’m spending five weeks living and working remotely from the stunning city of Sevilla from where I am getting out every weekend to explore the surrounding region. This time, I joined a tour and left the EU for the day to visit the strange little enclave of Gibraltar, a British Overseas Territory on the southern Spanish coast, from where you can spot Morocco across the ocean and cheeky monkeys playing on the famous Rock of Gibraltar.

Hi! I’m Jana, a British-Dutch-Canadian. I was raised mostly in Canada and left for a six-week backpacking trip at the beginning of 2019… and I haven’t been back to Canada since! Instead, I traveled full-time for nearly two years through Asia and the South Pacific and then moved back to Europe in September 2020, based first in Belgium and now in Austria.
