🦖I have a velociraptor at home and she eats as if she’s trying to get the food into her stomach as quickly as possible.

This is actually normal for some dogs.

They do not chew side to side they break it off and they swallow and they ask questions later.

… and so to make me feel better I take a meat mallet and I break up the bone so that it’s not one big piece when she swallows it.

absolutely nothing will replace or substitute for the minerals that dogs will get from a raw meat bone and because I feed for optimal health I value this and trust her anatomy and digestion will handle this as it should.

I bring this up because there are four B’s that people are afraid of when they are considering fresh food:
-bacteria
-balance
budget
- and bones.
