The St Hilda's Brain and Mind Series of workshops continue this year with the theme of Education and Learning.
Guest speakers for the first event, 'Reading and the Brain’, are Prof. Jo Taylor (UCL) for neuroscience, speaking on how we learn to read, Maggie Snowling (Oxford University) for psychology, speaking on dyslexia, and Prof. Maximilian de Gaynesford (University of Reading) for philosophy, speaking on essential reading in poetry.
The talks are followed by a Q&A.
