Independent counsel Park Young-soo said Monday his investigative team has found additional evidence strengthening the allegation that Choi Soon-sil directly interfered with personnel decisions in the presidential office.
Prosecutors had previously discovered that former personal presidential secretary Jeong Ho-seong... gave Choi documents showing the blueprint for high-level appointments, including the Park administration's candidates for its first prime minister, the Board of Audit and Inspection chairman, the National Intelligence Service director and a number of ministers.
The list was stored on an external hard drive and found when prosecutors raided Choi's house.
The independent counsel said Monday that they discovered that Choi had revised the list before returning it to the presidential office.
He said that when they compared the list Choi had revised and sent... to the final decisions announced at the time, it was a match.
Legal experts are saying the recent development could affect the Constitutional Court's decision on the motion to impeach President Park.

The independent counsel also said his team had met with Samsung Group officials to gather information to determine whether to summon the person as a witness or a suspect.
The group included Park Sang-jin, the chief of external affairs for Samsung Electronics.
Samsung is suspected of having provided financial support to Choi and her associates in exchange for government protection for its business interests.
