She is a well-known British actress, singer, and television personality. She rose to fame in the early 2000s as a member of the pop group Hear'Say, which was formed on the ITV reality show Popstars.

After leaving the group in 2002, Kym pursued a solo career as a singer, releasing several singles and a solo album. In 2006, she joined the cast of the long-running British soap opera Coronation Street, playing the role of Michelle Connor. She became a fan favourite and remained on the show for 13 years, earning critical acclaim and multiple award nominations.

Kym has also appeared on various other television shows, including the reality shows Popstar to Operastar and The Voice UK. She has also hosted her own talk show, Morning Live, since 2020.

Kym is not only a well-known and respected figure in the entertainment industry but was an absolute pleasure to have on the podcast!
