A cloudburst in Shimla’s Rohroo sub-division triggered a landslide on Sunday, blocking the road leading to Chansel, officials said.
There has been no loss of life, but an orchard and a stretch of road has suffered some damage.
The landslide had completed cut off Chansel, causing some lag in restoring traffic, officials said. Shimla’s Deputy Commissioner Amit Kashyap said both machinery and manpower had been sent to clear the area soon.
