Irazu volcano north of San Jose is not to be missed! Especially with the cool temps and short walk to find it.

Our favorite part of Irazu was the Prusia sector, we were feeling a taste of home with our visitors but smelling ponderosa pines and crunching through the needles on the floor relived our homesickness.
