How to make Vietnamese Shaking Beef-Bo Luc Lac (Video Tutorial)
This restaurant style Shaking Beef is originally called Bo Luc Lac and is one of Vietnam’s famous French-Vietnamese dishes. Extremely popular in Cambodia and known by a similar name called Luc Lac. Follow the recipe and you will be able to cook restaurant style Shaking Beef (Bo Luc Lac) at home.
Marinate the beef with ginger, garlic, pepper, fish sauce, soy sauce, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce and sugar at least half an hour before you cook. Cook the beef in a pan like you would cook steak. Don’t flip immediately, instead let the meat sear on one side and then flip after a minute of cooking on high heat. Once the other side also develops a similar texture, throw in the bell peppers or any other veggie of your choice and just give it a good shake. This is how Bo Luc Lac gots its name-Shaking Beef in the restaurants in America.
