This centering meditation is designed to use as a short break in your day to re-focus your mind and come back to center. Calming your mind and allowing yourself to feel more compassion and kindness to yourself and others.
Doing a quick centering meditation will help you become more in tune with your body and notice where you feel tension and release it before it builds up and creates pain. It will give you a moment to remind yourself what’s important in your day.
If we go through the day without re-centering ourselves it can be easy to be blown off-course and follow the wrong path as we get more and more stressed. Allowing ourselves to be pulled in different directions from an external world of distractions.
We tend to ignore our stress signals within our body and try to push through a ‘to-do’ list. So taking a minute to check in with how you’re feeling and make sure you’re on the right track is a simple way to start becoming more self-aware.
