Deadlock continues between angry farmers and the centre who refuses to meet their demands. On the fifth straight day of the farmer protest, after rejecting the government's dialogue offer asking the centre to hold unconditional talks, the farmers also issued a 2 days ultimatum and have threatened to block 5 entry points at Delhi. Minister of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Minister of Rural Development and Minister of Food Processing Industries Narendra Singh Tomar met Home Minister Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh to discuss this situation. Farmers meanwhile seem to be extremely disappointed with the government as no move has been made to listen to their pleas.
