TODAY'S GOSPEL: John 15:18-21

The Gospel of John reminds us of the role of suffering and humility in our Christian spirituality
Our faith is a faith of joy, but inevitably we will go through some suffering for what we believe in. “Love and pain always go together.” And yet in the end, it is precisely the pain that we experience that transforms our love. To be humble, we also have to give ourselves totally to God and to desire poverty in total identification with the suffering Christ. Let us pray for the grace to overcome challenges in our effort to love God in return.
