(5 May 2014) The Russian army held one of the last rehearsals on Monday ahead of the customary annual parade to mark victory over Germany in World War II.
Hundreds of spectators were invited to watch soldiers, armoured vehicles and tanks parading through Moscow's Red Square.
The traditional display of army might comes amid a backdrop of western concern about a Russian military build up on its border with Ukraine following the recent annexation of Crimea.
